Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF) in
Kosovo - Update 3


Four new alerts of possible cases have been received since the update of 14 June, yielding a total of 48 case alerts. Of
the 48 case alerts received so far, 25 were negative for CCHF by laboratory tests. Nine
are still under investigation. Clinical samples from the 4 newly reported patients are
being transported to the WHO Collaborating Centre for Arbovirus and Haemorrhagic Fever
Reference and Research in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
