
Outside of the cases reported in the country's northern district of Gulu, there have been three confirmed cases, including one death, in Mbarara district in the south, WHO said.
The mortality rate for this strain of Ebola haemorrhagic fever is holding steady at around 30 per cent, a much lower figure than other strains, the UN agency reported, adding that over 110 persons have been discharged from the hospitals.
WHO will not be able to declare the outbreak over until 42 days after the last case is reported.
