Ebola haemorrhagic fever in Uganda - Update

As of 24 November, the Ugandan Ministry of Health has
reported the following laboratory confirmed cases during the past week, 17-23 November:
- In Gulu district, there have been 15 laboratory confirmed
cases. During the week, there were 14 deaths. The Ugandan Ministry of Health
has reported cumulative figures of 337 cases, including 121 deaths.
- In Mbarara district, there have been no new laboratory
confirmed cases: the total of laboratory confirmed cases is 3. Since the previous report, the remaining two laboratory confirmed
cases have died.
- In Masindi district, 4 new laboratory confirmed cases have
been reported. These cases had contact with the first laboratory confirmed case, before
control measures were implemented. (see previous report).
