New outbreaks:

Epidemiology: two outbreaks (Nos. 2001/22 and 25) are situated in the northern part of the Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. The distance between these two dairy farms and the other outbreaks (in the provinces of Overijssel and Gelderland) is about 100 km. Up to now, no links with the other outbreaks have been found.
Control measures: around each of the two outbreaks in Friesland, preventive culling will take place in an area with a radius of 1 km. Suppressive vaccination and preventive culling will take place in one area of about 2 km around the two outbreaks.
