During the week from 22 to 28 April 2001, a total of 129 outbreaks of foot and mouth disease were confirmed on a clinical and laboratory basis, in cattle in various districts and departments in provinces of Argentina.
The total number of outbreaks registered up to 28 April 2001 is 479.
