Diagnosis:
A. Laboratory where diagnosis was made: OIE World Reference Laboratory for foot and mouth disease (Pirbright, United Kingdom).
B. Causal agent: FMD virus type O.
Control measures: quarantine and movement control inside the country; treatment; vaccination.
