Nice post as usual Mr. Aftergood---TXS.

Here is a URL & news blurb on Mr. Fisher from GovExec's blog too.

----

But, I really think Mr. Fisher merits nomination to the "Legion Wall", so I decided to submit Mr. Louis Fisher's name to Mr. Nick Turse's as a nominee.

Mr. Turse is running an on-going "Fallen Legion Project" on Tom's Dispatch.

When I checked for the project--- lo' and behold Mr. Turse has released an updated of the FLW list, since I last contacted him.

Sadly, it is now in Phase 3!

Maybe other of your Readers personally know of some Fed B-crats 'under attack', and FAS blog Readers might wish to add names to Mr. Turse's list---

In case they wish to participate, here is the e-mail link:

Here is the URL & FLW project info summary:

The Bureaucracy Strikes Back: Fallen Legion 3
By Nick Turse
TomDispatch.com

[Source http://www.tomdispatch.com/index.mhtml?pid=59061]

Sunday 12 February 2006

"In the first installment of this series, I offered 42 names to begin what now seems an endless - and ever-growing - list of top officials as well as beleaguered administrators, managers, and career civil servants who quit their government posts in protest or were ridiculed, defamed, threatened, fired, forced out, demoted, or driven to retire by Bush administration strong-arm tactics, cronyism, and disastrous policies.

In the second installment, I added what turned out to be a modest 175 further casualties to the rolls of "the Fallen."

"With this latest installment, TomDispatch's tally of the battling bureaucracy's casualties stands at approximately 243 - and rising (so please continue to send your suggestions of deserving legionnaires to:

fallenlegionwall@yahoo.com)"

Additionally in a Tomgram called:

"Nick Turse on Guerrilla Warfare in Washington"

Tom of Tom's Dispatch is looking for some techie project assistance---

Here is Tom's problem & request:

"But the truth is: There's no way of keeping up. As Strobel's piece indicates, news of continuing casualties from the bitter guerrilla war being waged in the corridors of Washington continues to pour forth.

Another Fallen Legion installment already lurks in the wings and further installments are undoubtedly being created as you read.

We only wish that someone would take Nick Turse's pieces and turn them into an on-line Wall of Honor (perhaps to be matched by a Wall of Shame filled with appointed Bush administration cronies and "political operatives").
Tom"

----

Does anyone have some spare time and skills to donate to Tom's worthy public information project?

Better yet---I think this could be built into a good, permanent Wiki project & entry...
