The effects of radio frequency (RF) microwave (MW) radiation on the human nervous system and their potential for use in non-lethal weaponry were discussed in a new summary report (pdf) prepared for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.
“Although the Department of Defense is one of the world’s largest developers and users of RF/MW-emitting systems for radar, communication and anti-electronic weaponry purposes, the use of RF/MW radiation as a non-lethal weapon per se has not yet been realized,” according to the authors.
“Most likely this is because the effects of exposure of biological systems to RF/MW fields at levels that do not produce thermal effects are largely unknown,” the unclassified report states.
“The overall objective of the research funded by this grant was to begin laying the foundation upon which RF/WM technology can be developed that would have an application for non-lethal weaponry uses, such as stunning/immobilizing the enemy.”

It’s about time DOD thought about such a thing. It has been reported in the past in some cases, I’m thinking of South America, or Africa, that UFOs have used such a weapon on people, where they rip off their clothing because they get hot.

You,maybe; Would not beleave what they are doing out here in the woods in western washington& Oregon.They have remote controlled infered aereol spycraft that can see through metal.they allso use microwave transmissions or deffently have on me any way out in the woods @ camp Rilea or. When I was hit with it it made a fizzing noise in my head. I looked around and saw a humvee with what looked like a sattlelight dish on it pointing at me. there is alot more but I”LL stop at this point:you”re RIGHT!

Why are you spreading so much disinfo in the US about RF/MW nonlehtal weapons-at use TODAY in so many coutries.European union has 1999 suggested a global ban and even state of Michigan law since 1.1.04 gives severe punishments for the use of it.Scientific disinfo is distasteful for whatever reason why do we have scientists?

I witnessed the RF testing center in San Diego California for Sony Electronics. I am not sure that the cathode ray tube is completly safe unless this type of FCC, Underwriters Limited (UL) testing is completed. Even so remember RCA and Zeinth, which were American companies, sold the intellectual property rights to Japanese companies. Is Japan going to become responsble to Underwriters Limited for the safety of the United States of America populace with RF technology?
In the worst case scenario their population density would make more efficient targets, espeically Tokyo, if a counterstrike was necessary with nuclear RF radiation via Air Force or US Navy weapons.
