The phrase above caught my eye. I was listening to a podcast from Deutsche Welle yesterday about the debate in the German parliament over the domestic deployment of German military in the case of a natural disaster or something similar. At the moment, their use inside Germany is strictly forbidden. This was in reaction to military being used against its own citizens by the Nazi government during WW2. 

When I read that phrase in the post, it made my blood run cold.
