1967 Hearings of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee

The hearings feature testimony by Director of Central Intelligence Richard Helms and other Johnson Administration officials on Soviet nuclear weapons policy, anti-ballistic missiles, Vietnam, the Middle East, and other topics of contemporary concern.

The last volume in this series, for 1966, was published in 1993! Any explanation for why it took 14 years to produce this volume?
[Good question. Publication of this material obviously has not been a priority for the Committee, or the Senate. It has also been necessary to submit the transcripts for declassification to CIA and other agencies, which can take a long time. But not that long. --SA]
