NSA Announces Power Upgrades Project
January 2nd, 2008 by Steven AftergoodThe National Security Agency published a notice today describing its Power Upgrades Project, which is intended to meet the Agency’s growing demand for electrical power and to replace aging electrical infrastructure.
“The proposed utility upgrades would allow for 100 percent self-contained redundancy, should off-site power sources fail,” according to the January 2 Federal Register notice.

So if the cold war is over and the “terrorist threat” has been demonstrated to be 99% BS, I guess all these new systems that need more and more power are to spy on us Americans.
I think we should dismantle 99% of this Orwellian nightmare and use that power for the good of the citizens instead of treating citizens as the enemy to be feared by the government.
