I agree with Rep. Rohrabacher in this case, and that is probably the first time I can say I agreed with him on anything. He is definately the pot calling the kettle black in this case however, as I have observed Mr. Rohrabacher to be among the most corrupt, obstructionist, self-serving members of congress I have ever seen. I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day, and a broken congressman is right once in a blue moon, although in Mr. Rohrabacher's case he is likely only complaining because someone is hindering his personal interests. If (and when) obstruction happens to anyone on the other side of the aisle, he cheers the strength of the Republican leadership. He is an a**hat, is a part of the problem, and probably shouldn't be quoted even on the rare occasion he says something agreeable.

I agree with Rep. Rohrabacher's basic thesis, but so what? He can rhetoricise on on the floor of the House as much as he wants, but until the Congress uses its powers -- famously that of the purse -- to get the attention of the Executive Branch, rhetoric and $1.50 will get him a decent coffee.
