This issue has been talked about since the first world war, about detainees held in U.S. military custody, or other Nations. That is why the Geneva Convention is in place, lets not forget what other countries would do to US personal if captured, or the fact of the bomb being dropped on Japan in World War 2, or Germany Doing what they done to the Jews, or terrorist decapitating American citizens or military personal, Vietnam the Viet Con, or the blacks being beaten down in US during the sixties, or the Hispanic community standing out in the cold, waiting to get pick up for their job on the grape fields. Look people the world is not a pretty place, to show or allow such pictures would make it worse, its bad enough that the US has to continue the fight for its own dignity and place in the world since the its conception. Realy think about it when you look at those photographs, and ask what is it we are fighting for? TO KILL THEM ALL, and are they saying the same thing in the end. You people should watch the movie the Kingdom.

The ACLU has done a disservice to the world by pursuing this FOIA for the pornography of war. We didn't need to see these pictures and we didn't need the legislation that has resulted in this application.

My remembrance of interviews with the reporter who broke the case is that the photos include abuse of minors as well. This "opens a whole new kettle of fish", which would require significant extra character to engage.
