Question from email about WIndows Vista and Immune Attack:

Finally got Immune Attack installed on my school laptops.  Getting ready to introduce it to the kids.

Went out this weekend and purchased new laptop.   So that I could run some of this new technology at home.  The new laptop has Vista on it.

After I download Immune Attack from the web I try to intall and get error message about setup initialization.  I downloaded it a couple time just to make sure I got the whole thing and still get the error message.

Any suggestions?

Hello all!

If you are having difficult for any reason in downloading Immune Attack, installing it or getting it to run on your computer, please post here.

Here is our FAQ so far:

1.  I have downloaded Immune Attack.  When I click on the Icon, the installation fails.

Answer:  Is your downloaded file 519 MB?  If not the complete game was not downloaded.  Please repeat your download.  Alternatively, you may request a CD from us, and pay only the cost of making and shipping the CD: $5.00.  However, we are still working out the details of how to collect for this.  Email mstegman in the meantime to request a copy for $5.00.

2.  I have completely downloaded a 519 file, but it still won't install OR it still does not run properly.

Answer:  Your PC may not meet the requirements.  The requirements are these:

2.0 Ghz Processor

1GB RAM

64 MB Graphics card

Microsoft DirectX 9.0c

And do not use a game console or joy stick!

3.  I have Immune Attack playing, but I keep spinning out of control.

Answer:  Unplug your joystick or game consol.
