DoD Satellite sensors detected a bolide event on Dec. 22 at 13:26:21Z which 
lasted for one minute.  It was located at 70.3S, 71.6W.

DoD satellites recorded a bright fireball event (visual magnitude -21) on Jan. 
15, 1996 at 13:44:23Z.  Location of the event was approximately 59.8S, 175.8E.
