San Antonio’s senior Marine retires from JC2WC

Marine Lt. Col. William Pratt retired from active duty May 14, in ceremonies held at the Alamo in downtown San Antonio, Texas.

Pratt was the Special Technical Operations chief for the Joint Command and Control Warfare Center and the senior Marine stationed in San Antonio since September 1996.

Pratt has accumulated more than 4,500 hours of flight time in various fighter aircraft, including more than 3,000 hours in the F-4 Phantom II. He flew 24 combat missions during Desert Storm.

He and his family plan to remain in San Antonio.
