AIA announces Junior IMA of the Year
TSgt. Angela Hanck, 1999’s Junior IMA of the year, has lived in San Antonio for the past 10 years. She joined the Air Force for the educational and travel opportunities and to serve her country like her father and brothers did.
As an individual mobilization augmentee, she is assigned to HQ AIA as a signals intelligence analyst, and attached for training to the 690th Information Operation Squadron.
In her civilian capacity, she is employed by Trident Data Systems and works as a computer threat analyst, supporting the Air Force Information Warfare Center, Kelly AFB.
Her ideas of success, she said, include “someone who can strike a balance between carrying out orders to the letter of the law and showing compassion and common sense at the same time. Someone who brings out the best in others whether on-duty or off-duty.”
Some of her accomplishments are: developing the Department of Defense’s first comprehensive Computer Network Attack database, an engineering database population project reducing total development time by 50 percent and performing analysis on archives to save distant-end consumers research time.
