Six former members of Air Intelligence Agency and its administratively supported organizations were honored Sept. 25 as they were inducted into the agency’s “Hall of Honor,” during ceremonies on Kelly’s “Security Hill.”
Co-sponsored by AIA and the Freedom Through Vigilance Association, the induction ceremony recognizes inductees “for their unique contribution to the agency and its missions since the organization was created more than 50 years ago,” Maj. Joe Mecadon, AIA public affairs director, said.
This year’s honorees are retired Lt. Gen. Kenneth A. Minihan, retired Brig. Gen. Travis M. Hetherington, retired Col. Thomas W. Ciambrone, retired CMSgt. Jack Roberts, retired CMSgt. Raul A. Sandoval and retired SMSgt. John S. Deaver.
This year’s ceremony marked the 16th year that AIA’s best of the best have been honored. Their citations and honors are displayed in the B.A. Larger Auditorium at HQ AIA.
