SUBJECT: Joint SIGINT Avionics Family High Band Subsystem (HBSS)
Bidder's Briefing and Request for Proposal Release
- The subject Request for Proposal release and bidder's briefing
is scheduled for 5 June 1997. On that day, the RFP will be given
to you, the prospective bidders, along with a briefing which will
highlight any major changes to the RFP from the draft version
and other important aspects of this acquisition. The bidder's
briefing will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday in room 105 of Building
557 at the above address.
- Due to the TS/SCI classification of some documents contained
in the RFP, a courier letter from your SSO stating you have the
proper clearances necessary to transport this documentation in
whatever manner you will be traveling, is needed. The briefing
will also contain TS/SCI materials, therefore all attendees must
pass their TS/SCI clearance information to SSO ASC/CVS, Wright-Patterson
AFB OH 45433, Attention: Ron Rice (telephone: 937-255-4080).
Specify the undersigned as the point of contact in that clearance
request. Access to the read room, which is now available to you
by appointment, also requires TS/SCI clearances.
- For individuals remaining in the Wright-Patterson area overnight
after the briefing, the TS/SCI documents can be stored overnight
in the secure facilities in building 557, and made available for
the courier at 6:00 a.m. on 6 June 1997.
