System Description
The Maneuver UAV will be a two-person portable system for use by Army and Marine tactical ground forces to reconnoiter the close battle area up to about 30 km beyond the forward line of own troops (FLOT). It will be interoperable with the Hunter Tactical UAV. The Maneuver UAV air vehicle will be a different, smaller design, but its ground control station, remote video terminal and ground data terminal will share common software and components with Hunter. Its single critical performance parameter will require the system to provide dedicated day-night imagery support for the brigade commander in near-real-time.
