SUBJECT: [   (b)(6)   ] Locations of All Known or Suspected 
Chemical Storage Sites in the KTO-

        We do not know with any degree of confidence where the 
Iraqis are storing their chemical weapons in the KTO.  
Traditionally, Iraq has not deployed its chemical weapons to 
forward based units until their use was imminent.  Since the
coalition's bombing campaign against Iraqi chemical production, 
storage and filling facilities began on 17 January, it is believed 
that they have probably dispersed their sensitive chemical weapons 
stocks to improve survivability.  The current whereabouts of their 
chemical inventory is unknown.  While we maintain a listing of 22 
S-shaped bunkers suspected of CW storage (two have now been
destroyed) and 19 special refrigerated, bunkers (12 are now 
destroyed) that could also be used for CW storage, only three of 
their locations are within the KTO.  Recent attempts to search for 
indications of chemical storage in ammunition supply points within 
the KTO have not been successful.

        The following is a list of storage sites within the KTO 
that are suspected of storing chemical weapons, [   (b)(1) sec

      has one S-shaped bunker [   (b)(2)   ]. 

4.  Republican Guard Ammo Storage Fac I [   (b)(2)   ] 30293 IN

5.  Republican Guard Ammo Storage Fac II [   (b)(2)   ]
    30315N 0472803E both of these RG facilities have V-shaped     
     trenches, revetted storage with lightning arrestors, and     
      [      (b)(1) sec 1.3(a)(4)    ]

6.  Uum Qasr: chemical bombs reported being stored at 3002N O4757E

7.  Abraq Al Habari: missiles with chemical warheads reported at  
     2929N 04656E

8.  Desert of Al Ahmadi area reported missile storage at 2905N    
     04805E

9.  Port of Mina Al Ahmadi reported missile storage at 2909N
