Agencies not involved in Karachi unrest

ISLAMABAD, Aug 28 (APP) : Interior Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has categorically denied MQM allegations and said that security agencies are not involved in Karachi unrest. Talking to newsmen in his chamber he asked the (MQM (A) to present proofs and bring it into notice of government. He dispelled the impression that "agencies" are patronising one political group MQM (H) to crush MQM (A). He also dismissed the rumors that there is any move to dissolve Sindh Assembly or the imposition of Governor rule. He maintained that government will also not reverse its policy to control law and order situation in Karachi . Replying to a question he said, government could not pardon those elements, irrespective of their political affiliations who desecrated and torched national flag in Karachi. He asserted that " burning of the national flag is not a minor incident and those involved in this heinous and abhorrent act will be taken to task." He said " miscreant involved in torching national flag were arrested and thorough inquiry is underway."
