Functional Prioritization: NSAWC was asked to comment on the CINC VTUAV mission priority list and found it to be not in compliance with joint mission terminology and was void of mission definitions. NSAWC reoriented the list to include functional areas and missions within those functional areas. Enclosed in your meeting folders is a copy of their input. Note that Battle Space Dominance, or Battle Management, is behind Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition (RSTA) only because one needs to perform certain observation and orientation functions before decisions and actions can occur.
