The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for a study of mission needs for the Multi Role Endurance (MRE) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). This analysis is one of the SECNAV and DOD required elements for a Milestone 0 on a possible acquisition program. The cognizant program office (PMA-263) is seeking participation from those offerors who have demonstrated and/or proven their capability as either systems integrators or manufacturers of aircraft or UAV systems. The MRE UAV Risk Analysis program objectives are to: - Develop a final Mission Needs Statement - Provide System Design and Definition - identify potential configurations (and their associated risks) - identify critical technologies requisite for success - Perform Systems Analysis and Risk Assessment - document trades and risks of the system Industry is requested to provide proposals in response to this Broad Agency Announcement by 17 March 2000 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) Eastern Standard Time.
