Abstract: The objectives of the audit were to determine whether the systems
that comprise the DoDIIS are interoperable and whether oversight of acquisition
management is adequate to assure that the development and procurement of DoDIIS
components support the attainment of a seamless command, control,
communications, computers, and intelligence architecture. The audit also
determined whether the roles and responsibilities of the DoD intelligence
community have been adequately defined with respect to management of national
and tactical DoDIIS resources and data element standardization.
