Notes:
The Mainz area is classic Germany. It is hard to imagine a more serene or pristine countryside. The area feels cool, clean, and calm.
One does not have to journey far to get a sense of antiquity and history. It does indeed permeate the area, from the Rhine with its castles to the hinterland with backdrops of green fields and blue skies.
