Multisource Integrated Nofication System [MINS]
Provides ability to create, maintain, and perform
standing queries across several databases in order to notify
analysts of new information. Notifications distributed via e-mail.
Includes SIGINT, FISINT, MASINT, and IMINT collection,
CIRC documents, messages, and other text information. Includes
CIRC Profiles and EASI. The NAIC is POC for this system.
MINS is a DOD migration system. The DoD is in the process of establishing a simplified baseline of the best, common information systems across the business functions of the Department. These migration systems represent a stage of process improvement designed at achieving a common set of automated processes and practices in DoD.
