Information Warfare Mission Planning, Analysis and C2 Targeting System (IMPACTS)
The Information Warfare Mission Planning, Analysis and C2 Targeting System (IMPACTS)
consists of hardware and software that provide the EW/IW analyst with the tools
necessary to perform their job.
IMPACTS is based largely upon JMCIS, and now GCCS-M (aka DII COE) compliant
software "segments" that perform a variety of functions. The Radio Frequency Mission
Planner (RFMP) and Cryptologic Management (CM) segments are supported by the
Naval Information Warfare Activity (NIWA, aka SPAWAR PMW 162). Other segments
from the Cryptlogic Unified Build (CUB) library as well as those developed by GCCs-M
and DISA are also utilized to provide a complete solution.
