Colombian Intelligence and Security Agencies
There are seven Colombian intelligence organizations that provide support to governmental and military
agencies.
El Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad (DAS) is the country’s primary intelligence service.
Each military service-—Air Force, Army, and Navy-—has an intelligence organization.
The National Police also has its own intelligence unit, la Dirección de Inteligencia de la Policía Nacional (DIPOL).
La Unidad de Información y Análisis Financiero combats money laundering.
El Cuerpo Técnico de Investigaciones serves the Attorney General.
