The minister of the Interior conference of league and countries has in a decision of that 6. June 1997 the constitution protection authorities in league and countries authorizes, to observe the controversial Scientology - organization (SO) first of all a year long with all nachrichtendienstlichen means and to explore their influence on the democracy in Germany. After more for years, to the part furious more nationally and more internationally debate about the influence of the Scientology - organization on state and company came the ministers of the Interior to their rotational session in Bonn for the conviction, that concrete reference points exist for anticonstitutional objectives on the part of it SO. |

| Now the interlocking of the organization should be explored in state and economy. The protection of the Constitution in Schleswig-Holstein will not observe on the contrary them SO for the time being. That decided the state government at that 26. August in Kiel, since the current schleswig-holsteinische do not admit country constitution law an observation it SO. Since July 1997 the Federal office for protection of the Constitution has arranged a Hotline for Scientology - persons affected. Under assurance strict privacy can turn sacrifices and dropouts of the organization over the phone number 0221 - 792 60 60 to the Cologne authority. Often relatives and dropouts of the Scientology - organization have fear before a tracing, if they make their knowledge publicly. At the „confidential telephone " - they can speak without fear before act of vengeance ions about their experiences. The Hotline is occupied round around the clock. |

| The Federal office for protection of the Constitution offers dropouts of the so-called Scientology - organization a Telefonhotline. Here in the studio is the president of the Federal office Dr. Peter Fresh. Mr. Freshly, how has been the reaction in the three weeks up to now? | |

| We have had up until now over 500 calls, which cover, to speak that here a genuine need exists with somebody, which can give an one advice or a reference and where one unloads also his cares once. | |

| There sit experts at the other end of the direction, which make that. Do information collect them first of all for their office or give them/it/her first of all support for the callers? | |

Dr. Freshly: |
|
| We give references on it, where one can receive help. We personally do not make that. We give for instance addresses of self-help groups like by parents initiatives at - by the way notices, are surprisingly many parents here in care because of the Scientologyabhängigkeit of their children - or we call also the addresses of the country sect commissioner. Besides we ship or recommend addresses of positions, where they can get enlightenment material. We personally will publish in the foreseeable future also a pamphlet. | |

| At over the half of all calls went it about it, to give advice. But, we calculate naturally also with it, and we have received already corresponding references, that different interlocutor want to say us something over the Scientology. We have won several contacts to dropouts from the Scientology; therefore persons, the trouble have, to separate from which Scientology. If we receive such references, which are important for our educational work, is us the thoroughly right. | |

| We have gotten references, which we pursue. A large role plays in it our assurance of the privacy. There is a whole series of dropouts or also from members the Scientology, which call the name and are also ready, to stand with their name for that, which they want to say us. But there is also very many, which had up to now restraints or even fear - that is completely remarkably - itself public or facing acquaintances, from whom they do not know so exactly, where the einzusortieren are, to express. Many are glad and grateful, that they know now an official position, at which they turn can to receive around there references and advice. | |

| The Federal office for protection of the Constitution becomes always more to the adversary of the Scientology - organization. Do you feel that also? Does there is also threats, Repressalien of the page facing them? | |

Dr. Freshly: |

| A part of the callers - I would estimate so approximately 15 - 20% - indulges therein, to drive in with desolate outrages on us; there is however also moderate criticism, but that is fewer. There are also written remarks. I personally have gotten a letter from somebody, the management consultant is. If that before court went, he/it would get one long prison term. But there counts for us the principle „lower hang " - - that is basted and with it has it itself. | |

Actual reference points for efforts, which are directed at the liberal democratic constitution, emerge from a multitude of remarks of the Scientology - founder Lafayette Ron Hubbard (1911 - 1986) and from the conduct of the organization, as they are reported before everything by former SO - members: Goal it SO is accordingly the perfect person, who „Clear " -. Through application of Dianetik and Scientology, which include among others also means the Psychomanipulation, should however not only the individual person, but the entire human company „gecleart " - become. Because of the claim to absolute right the scientologischen ideology means this: The creation of a new social order, in which them SO the control exercises over the government power. The programatics and the activities it SO show, that in a such company the basic rights hurts and other elements of the liberal democratic constitution would be abolished: Them SO speaks only „Clears " - certain rights to. She/it meets critics against it with inconsiderate suppression. The absolute sole distributorship claim the scientologischen ideology tolerates no opposition and is not compatible with the Mehrparteienprinzip. |
