BfV Organization
The organization of the BfV is conducted from the president, who has a vice president as
representatives, and divided into six sections.
Beside the central position BfV with seat in Cologne there are in the individual federal states state authorities for protection of the Constitution. They are not the BfV subordinate. The protection of the Constitution is a task of the Federal Government in cooperation with the States, under the Constitutional Law.
