| 1. Without rucksacks the UH-60L ACL is 20 seats out and 11 seats in. With rucksacks the |
|
|
|
|
| UH-60L ACL is 18 seats out and 11 seats in. On all slingloads, room must be made for the crew |
|
|
|
|
| chief to observe the load. Rifle companies should not plan to air assault more than 100 soldiers (w/o |
|
|
|
|
| rucks) per seats-out light serial. Given our field strengths, it’s reasonable to train and plan that way. |

|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
|
| 2. ACL for UH60L with external loads is based on the weight of the specific load, not to exceed a |
|
|
|
|
| total of 8,500 lbs (including passengers and internal load). To exceed this may reduce the ability of |
|
|
|
|
| the aircraft to meet range requirements (require fuel to be consumed before takeoff). |

|

| 3. The CH-47D ACL with rucks is 60 seats out and 30 seats in. |
