Chapter III. Technology Transition 5. Relationship to Modernization Plan Annexes
To support the Combat Health Support Modernization Annex of the Army Modernization Plan, new generations of medical systems and products will be tested for technical feasibility and operational utility. Primary emphasis will be placed on capabilities to minimize casualties through improved protection and prevention as well as reduce treatment time for soldiers incapacitated by disease or injury. The relationship between the Combat Health Support systems and other Army Modernization Plan Annexes is shown in Figure III-J-2.
