Notes:
The organization of the brigade is currently being worked and adjustments are still being made. It is envisioned that the total troops in the brigade will number around 3000-3500.
Brigade Headquarters and Headquarters Company
Military Intelligence Company
Infantry battalion HHC includes a scout platoon and 120mm mortar platoon mounted in Medium Armored Vehicles (MAVs)
3 Rifle Companies consisting of 3 infantry platoons in MAVs, one Mobile Gun System (MGS) Platoon also in MAVs and one each section of 81mm and 60mm mortars.Each company has a sniper squad.
Each rifle squad has a sniper and a Javelin AT system
Antitank Company consists of TOW 2B fire and forget missiles mounted in a MAV turret.
The Recon, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (RSTA) Squadron consists of 3 recon troops and one Surveillance Troop.
Recon troops each have 3 recce platoons of 4 MAVs per platoon. Each squad has a 3 man scout team and is capable of both mounted and dismounted operations
The Surveillance Troop consists of a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platoon with 4 UAVs and a Gorund Sensor Platoon
Engineer Company of 3 combat engineer/mobility platoons mounted in MAVs and a bridging capability
The artillery will be either a M198 155mm Towed Howitzer Battalion or a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) Battery.
The Forward Support Battalion provide minimal essential logistical for the brigade
