General

The Joint Captured Material Exploitation Center is activated during periods of hostilities and assists in management of recovery, exploitation, and disposal of captured enemy equipment.  This type of equipment can provide critical information on enemy strengths and weaknesses that may favorably influence operational planning. The CEAC should notify the National Military Joint Intelligence Center (NMJIC) through command channels that it requires JCMEC support.
