General

Equipment operation and maintenance will be conducted IAW applicable service regulations and technical instructions.  Maintenance priorities will emphasize mission essential systems which can be returned to combat readiness in the shortest   possible time. Given the high operational tempo of equipment operation, an aggressive preventive maintenance program is imperative. For items beyond the capability of the EAC to repair, the EAC will determine the most expeditious means to repair or replace required equipment to Fully Mission Capable status in minimum time. The CEAC may authorize controlled substitution of critical spares, but strict accountability must be maintained. CEAC, in conjunction with components, will determine a Prescribed Load List (stockage levels for repair parts) for critical spares and for parts with higher usage due to unique operational or environmental conditions. CEAC will evacuate all reparable, returnable components and assemblies to repair or overhaul activities per disposition instructions issued by component services.
