General This cell's focus is on the tactical and operational training of the corps staff. This cell is the central point to coordinated the training to facilitate the corps' efficiency at command and control of tactical warfighting when the corps is assigned as a tactical warfighter to a theater numbered army and as an operational warfighting headquarters when organized as an EAC. This cell also forms the Joint Training Team Army core billets to the JTT cell of the Deployable Joint Task Force Augmentation Cell. Specific Coordination Pre-deployment Identify within each section and IAW each section those Army staff core billets that will habitually deploy when the corps is organized as an EAC headquarters Identify sister service supplemental billets required to augment the core corps billets to establish functioning joint staffs for operational level of war missions where the corps serves as the C2 headquarters. Collect from each staff section those inputs they require from all other staff sections, center, cells and boards to produce their staff section, center, cell or board products and what outputs they produce for other staff use. Develop training simulations that exercise the input and output requirements for the purpose of refining manning and products production that enhance the corps capability to perform as an EAC C2 headquarters. During Deployment This cell deploys with the DJTFC and forms the army core billets to the JTT. Provide to sister service JTT representatives the total package or input and output products the EAC staff will produce with specific indeification of what the sister service staff coordination must be. Conduct in-theater or AOR training of joint staff personnel after reception and before assignment to their staff. The objective is for the incoming personnel to be fully cognizant of the current situation, the mission of the EAC, their staff section of assignment; purpose; position to occupy. The intent is for the incoming personnel to be trained to the point they will easily adapt to their new position and purpose without detracting from the current efficiencies of the staff section they are assigned to. Post deployment and Transition As the EAC transitions from one structure to another or personnel turnover requires the same training as during deployment is executed with modifications that reflect the new structure, mission, etc. the EAC is becoming. The purpose is the same to limit the turbulence new personnel may cause as they are included in a staff section.
