1.  MISSION.  TO PLAN, COORDINATE, AND EXECUTE AVIATION AND
COMBINED ARMS OPERATIONS TO SUPPORT THE CORPS AVIATION
BRIGADE SCHEME OF MANEUVER.

2.  ASSIGNMENT.  TOE 01410A100 ORGANIC TO THE CORPS AVIATION
BRIGADE, TOE 01400A100.  TOE 01410A200 ORGANIC TO THE CORPS
AVIATION BRIGADE, TOE 01400A200.  TOE 01410A300 ORGANIC TO
THE CORPS AVIATION BRIGADE, TOE 01400A300.  TOE 01410A400
ORGANIC TO THE CORPS AVIATION BRIGADE, TOE 01400A400.

3.  CAPABILITIES.

    A.  AT LEVEL 1, THIS UNIT PROVIDES:

      (1)  ASSAULT, UTILITY, AND MEDIUM HELICOPTER UNITS TO
MOVE COMBAT PERSONNEL, SUPPLIES, AND EQUIPMENT IN SUPPORT OF
CORPS OPERATIONS.

      (2)  COMMAND AND CONTROL AIRCRAFT AND EQUIPMENT TO
ENHANCE COMMAND, CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS, AND INTELLIGENCE.

      (3)  TARGET ACQUISITION AND AERIAL RECONNAISSANCE
AIRCRAFT IN DIRECT SUPPORT OF THE CORPS ARTILLERY AND IN
GENERAL SUPPORT OF THE CORPS.

      (4)  AIR TRAFFIC SERVICES TO SUPOORT DIVISION, CORPS,
AND ECHELONS ABOVE CORPS OPERATIONS.

      (5)  AUGMENTATION OF CORPS AIR AMBULANCE RESOURCES
WHEN REQUESTED BY MEDICAL AUTHORITIES.

      (6)  CONTINUOUS (DAY AND NIGHT) OPERATIONS DURING
VISUAL AND MARGINAL WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LIMITED
OPERATIONS DURING INSTRUMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS IN SUPPORT
OF COMBAT OPERATIONS.

    B.  THE COLUMNS UNDER LEVELS 2 AND 3 ADAPT THIS TABLE
FOR REDUCED OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES IN DECREMENTS OF 10
PERCENT, FROM APPROXIMATELY 90 PERCENT FOR LEVEL 2 TO
APPROXIMATELY 80 PERCENT FOR LEVEL 3.

    C.  THIS UNIT IS NOT ADAPTABLE TO TYPE B ORGANIZATION.

    D.  THE COLUMNS DESIGNATED BY LEVEL 1 THROUGH 3 ARE
DESIGNED TO RELATE TO THE CATEGORIES ESTABLISHED IN AR
220-1, UNIT STATUS REPORTING.

    E.  INDIVIDUALS OF THIS ORGANIZATION, EXCEPT MEDICAL
PERSONNEL AND THE CHAPLAINS, CAN ASSIST IN COORDINATED
DEFENSE OF THE UNIT'S AREA OR INSTALLATION.

    F.  THIS UNIT IS DEPENDENT UPON:

        (1)  APPROPRIATE ELEMENTS OF THE CORPS OR ECHELONS
ABOVE CORPS FOR LEGAL, FINANCE, PERSONNEL, ADMINISTRATIVE
AND LOGISTICAL SUPPORT ABOVE UNIT LEVEL, AND SUPPLEMENTAL
TRANSPORTATION.

        (2)  THE U.S. AIR FORCE FOR AVIATION WEATHER SUPPORT
IN ACCORDANCE WITH AR 115-110/AFR 105-3 AND FM 34-81/AFM
105-4.

        (3)  THE U.S. AIR FORCE FOR A TACTICAL AIR CONTROL
PARTIES (TACP) TO COORDINATE AND CONTROL TACTICAL AIR
SUPPORT.

4.  BASIS OF ALLOCATION.  ONE PER CORPS AVIATION BRIGADE,
TOE 01400A.

5.  CATEGORY.  THIS UNIT IS DESIGNATED A CATEGORY II UNIT.
