TRAINING REPORTS SUMMARY

 

6301. Group Commander (including Regional Training Coordinators (RTC) Reports

Report/Reference Description

a. Exportable Training Courses RTC will consolidate regional exportable training course

COMTRALANT OPORD 2000 requirements and submit quarterly to COMTRALANT/

or COMTRAPAC INST 3500.15 COMTRAPAC. Note: COMTRALANT and COMTRAPAC are being

disestablished. New organizations, TCC/LTA San Diego and

TCC/LTA Norfolk will perform the MTT coordination function

previously exercised by the training type commanders. Until new

guidance is promulgated, procedures contained in the references at the left will

continue in effect.

6302. ISIC Reports

Report/Reference Description

a. Award Nominations. ISIC will submit nominations following each competitive

SURFTRAMAN Ch5, Sec1 cycle for Battle "E" and Command Excellence awards using format of Figure 5-1.

b. CART II Completion ISIC will report results of CART II within one week of CART

II completion. See Chapter 6, Section 4.

c. FEP Completion ISIC will report results of FEP within one week after FEP

completion using message format prescribed Chapter 6,

Section 4.

6303. Unit Reports

Report/Reference Description

a. Exportable Training Courses Ships/units must provide RTC quarterly requirements for COMTRALANT OPORD 2000 or exportable training, including primary/alternate dates IAW COMTRAPACINST 3500.15 schedule of governing directive. COMTRALANTINST

5302.1/COMTRAPACINST 1540.1F lists available courses. See note in paragraph

6301.a above.

b. Training Report 1. Message report of completion of training exercises as well

(TRNGREP). as other reportable readiness evolutions, and TYCOM

SURFTRAMAN Ch6, Sec2 interest data.

2. Exercises completed in overhaul should be reported in the first TRNGREP submitted upon completion of overhaul.

3. As a minimum, TRNGREPs will be submitted monthly

to reach TYCOM NLT last day of the month.

 

6304. Other Training Reports

Report/Reference Description

a. SURFTRAMAN Feedback Any unit in chain of command, as well as any activity

Report. included on distribution either as service provider or

SURFTRAMAN Ch1, Sec4 supporting activity, may initiate query about any aspect of the Surface Force Training Program or make recommendation for its improvement.

b. Navy Training Feedback System This form is a tool for Navy activities and personnel to

(NTFS) Form identify, report and validate training related deficiencies to

CNET, TYCOM and other echelon II commands.

OPNAVINST 1500.71 governs the use of NTFS.
