The PATS measures the concentration of these particles inside and outside of the mask and calculates a Protection Factor.

Trailblazer LRC CG, CECOM PFDOS IV The overall mission of TRAILBLAZER is to support Division commanders’ target and situation development, and force protection requirements by providing Line of Bearing (LOB) information to the ASAS. TRAILBLAZER provides a ground-based, tactical HF/VHF/UHF intercept and HF/VHF direction finding capability. It provides a high speed reporting data link to the ASAS. TRAILBLAZER intercepts, analyzes, classifies, and records signals of interest. It consists of the M9232A2 5-Ton Truck, the OA-9159/TSQ Master Control Group, and the Trailer Support Unit.

Trojan RDEC CG, CECOM PFDOS IV The Trojan architecture consists primarily of three subsystems, i.e., Remote Receiver Group (RRG), Monitor Control Group (MCG), and a supporting communications architecture. The RRG consists of a multiple sensor and antenna subsystems strategically located at various Remote Collection Facilities (RCF). MCGs are located at a Central Operating Facility (COF) at garrison locations of MI units. The communications system is a dedicated full-duplex communications network which links the RCFs and the COFs via the Trojan Switching Center (TSC), Fort Belvoir, VA. The TSC provides switched connectivity of any MCG to any RRG and also enables secure voice and data communications among all sites within the system. Initiatives within the Trojan program include operational upgrades with the requisite software and hardware configuration changes and an enhanced communications connectivity to allow for access into national level databases, and to enhance dissemination of intelligence products to tactical MI units in support of battlefield commanders.
Trojan SPIRIT II RDEC CG, CECOM PFDOS IV The Trojan Special Purpose Integrated Remote Intelligence Terminal (SPIRIT) II system provides tactical commanders a mobile intelligence processing and dissemination capability with direct message access via the Automated Digital Network (AUTODIN), classified Electronic Mail (E-Mail) service, Secondary Imagery Dissemination System (SIDS), and access to worldwide intelligence databases through Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR NET) (collateral) and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) through the Trojan Switching Center (TSC) located at Fort Belvoir, VA.
