Dialogue: I’d like to start this block of instruction by showing you a ten minute film, “Steal Rain on the Battlefield.” MLRS is a surface to surface, highly mobile, rapid fire, free flight rocket and guided missile delivery system. During this film, notice the rapid, destructive, fire power that MLRS offers the Division Commander. MLRS has provide the leading edge in the development of the M109A6 Paladin Howitzer. With the addition of a whole new family of munitions currently being fielded or developed, MLRS is the artillery system which will take the United States Field Artillery well into the XXI century.
