Dialogue: The Army TACMS System Block I and Block IA provides the U.S. Army with a long range, all weather, day/night, missile system. The Army developed them to defeat high payoff targets at operational depths. Army TACMS Block I and Block IA are most effective when employed against soft, sitting targets that are relatively large and lightly protected. They are not suited for attacking moving targets, or stationary, armored targets such as tanks.
