Title: Launcher Fire Mission Processing
Dialogue: Pressing LCHR LAY begins the ballistic computation and weapon processing for a fire when ready (FWR) mission. At the same time, it takes data from the SRP/PDS and checks it. First, it checks the slope angle (roll and pitch). If the slope is in excess of 89 mils or 5 degrees the crew should reposition the launcher. If the launcher is at a slope of 267 mils or greater the crew will be prompted to reposition the launcher. What occurs next is weapon processing. The fuze setter is initially tested and the EU and smart weapons start communicating with each other through the PIM.
