Dialogue: The specifics of the mission will dictate the level of involvement required of the corps TOC between the detection of desired targets and the delivery of lethal or non-lethal delivery means. Centralized execution of the detect and delivery missions requires that the detection assets report back to the corps TOC. The corps TOC then communicates the delivery requirements to the delivery assets. In the centralized execution method the division/corps usually plans the fires and maintains centralized control of missile and rockets fires. When firing ATACMS the designated battalion must keep the corps informed of current hot platoon locations so the corps can clear their airspace hazard areas (PAHs and TAHs).
