Target Air Hazard(TAH)
Notes:
Title: Target Air Hazard (TAH)
Dialogue: The Target Air Hazard message describes the area around the target area as an air hazard. Like the PLT;AIRHZD message it is used to warn all flight operations and to gain airspace clearance. The Block I C2AP does not generate a target air hazard message. Unit standard operating procedures should be followed for clearing Block I target air hazard areas. The Block IA C2AP generates this message when an AFOM fire mission is processed. The Block IA TGT;AIRHZD message defines four points on the ground around the target. The size of the TGT;AIRHZD depends on the range to the target. The ZALT defines the height of the airspace hazard based on the target center and munition burst point. The ZALT value is the same one defined in the platoon air hazard (PLT;AIRHZD) message. The operator entries are limited to defining the effective DTG of the message.
