Information connectivity and improved technology will merge the training efforts of the school house and unit and give the individual soldier access to unprecedented evaluation and training capabilities for self development. The Army Training Digital Library (ATDL) is the repository of all training related information. ATDL will be a self sustaining, automated training information system for the Total Army. Training aids, devices, simulations and simulators will be integrated to the extent that allows individuals and units to train in near real combat conditions.
