
At the end of 1998 the improved "Qianwei (Advance Guard)-2" was introduced. According to the developers of this new missile, the "Qianwei-2" is the world's most effective one-man shoulder-launched ultra-low-altitude air defense missile, surpassing the US "Stinger" and the the French "Mistral" in performance.
