When you join FAS, where does your membership contribution go?

For as little as a $50 membership contribution, you support our efforts to:

• Reduce the risks of further nuclear proliferation and analyze pathways to deeper nuclear arms reductions and disarmament.
• Promote public access to government information and to illuminate the apparatus of government secrecy.
• Increase transparency, accountability, and restraint in the legal arms trade, and to eradicate the illicit arms trade.
• Research and advocate biosecurity policies that balance science and security without compromising national security or scientific progress.
• Examine security issues related to energy, food, land, water, and other natural resources.
• Improve education by intuitively teaching middle and high school students about molecular biology and infectious diseases.
