VOA'S JIM TEEPLE REPORTS FROM NEW DELHLI. TEXT: INDIA'S FOREIGN MINISTER JASWANT SINGH SAYS INDIA WAS GIVEN PRIOR NOTICE BY PAKISTAN OF PLANS TO TEST FIRE THE GHAURI-TWO MISSILE ON WEDNESDAY. ON SUNDAY, INDIA TEST-FIRED AN UPGRADED VERSION OF ITS OWN BALLISTIC MISSILE THE AGNI-TWO. IT WAS THE FIRST TEST OF THE AGNI MISSILE IN FIVE YEARS. THE UNITED STATES AND SEVERAL OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE CRITICIZED THE MISSILE TESTS SAYING THEY COULD LEAD TO AN ARMS RACE IN THE REGION. MR.
