THE CROSS-BORDER FIRING ESCALATED THURSDAY LEADING TO AN ARTILLERY DUEL. THE UNITED NEWS OF INDIA SAYS 10 PAKISTANI INFILTRATORS AND SEVEN INDIAN SOLDIERS WERE KILLED IN THE FIGHTING -- BUT INDIAN AUTHORITIES ARE NOT CONFIRMING ANY CASUALTIES.
